Walk Southern Vermont and Ride the Rails of the Green Mountain Flyer

Walk the trails of Vermont Inn to Inn Walking Tours, and ride the rails of the Green Mountain Flyer.

If you plan to walk from Inn to Inn during the fall foliage in 2013, take the time to treat yourself to a restful and spectacular train ride.
Ride the rails from Bellows Falls, VT northwest along the Connecticut river valley into the Green Mountains, past The Inn Victoria into the "Prettiest Painted Village in Vermont", Chester Depot.  The two hour ride will take you through countless maple groves which produce spectacular scenery in the fall as well as world class maple syrup in the spring.

This adventure will take you back to the original 1849 trains & coach cars.   The Southern Vermont excursions depart Bellows Falls at 11 AM and 2:30 PM each Tuesday and Friday October 1st through October 25th. Two very special rides to consider are the Bonnie & Clyde and the Rutland day trip.
  • Friday, September 20  Bonnie & Clyde ride the rails and get arrested.
  • Saturday, October 12  An all day trip to Rutland, VT and back includes entertainment and cash bar
