Hiking Vacations Walking Tours in Vermont

Have you always wanted to do a walking tour of New England?  Have you considered a Southern Vermont Vacation, walking from one Bed and Breakfast to another?  Imagine a self guided walking tour that will take you through four B&B's in Southern Vermont while covering over 40 miles of varying terrain from open fields, lakes, forests, quiet country gravel roads, trails along babbling brooks, water falls, wildlife, small villages and much more.

Southern Vermont is home to more covered bridges, cheese makers, B&B's and gorgeous countryside than anyplace in New England.  It is one thing to visit one B&B for a week and take day trips, but a whole different experience to walk the quiet trails of Southern Vermont's gravel roads through the woods and around the lakes & ponds.

Vermont Inn to Inn Walking Tours offers guests the flexibility of walking the trails for the day or taking a diversion if necessary.  Your bags are transported to the next B&B for you so you don't have to.  The walks are self guided with a map, directions and food.

My next several blogs will detail some of the trails.

  1. We did this tour in September, ending at Dan & Peggy's amazing B & B. And loved it! They are the most amazing hosts, and the scenery and meals along the way through all 4 inns were second to none! We highly recommend Vermont Inn to Inn Walking Tours!
