Vermont Inn to Inn Walking Tours, Self Guided

Walking between Vermont Bed and Breakfasts can be a fun adventure for any age.  Imagine the possibility of sighting a deer or moose in the wild while walking gravel trails between villages.  Observe wild turkeys in the vast fields.  Take pictures of rock walls, 250 year old cemetery, waterfalls, old farmsteads, New England barns, crystal clear & peaceful ponds, and so much more.

Countless people have walked the trails over the years; the stories and pictures people share with me are fabulous.  These walks become adventures of a lifetime for some.  For the first timers...here's how it works:

You will arrive at one of the Southern Vermont inns the evening before the walk.  The next morning after breakfast, you will be given a route map and snacks for the day.  Your route will average approximately 10 miles.  The Innkeeper will transport your bags to the next bed and breakfast, so that your bags are ready for you when you arrive later in the day.  At the next B&B, you will have the opportunity to clean up, relax and enjoy a great evening meal prepared by the Innkeepers.  The next three days each offer another great country/gourmet breakfast, a different route leading to the next B&B, another great evening meal, and an experience of a lifetime!

Go to the website and watch the slideshow of highlights; imagine yourself taking these photos after departing from your Southern Vermont Romantic Getaway.

  1. Sounds like fun. I love these self guided tours and being able to enjoy the trees and fresh air. I hope I will be able to do this adventure in Vermont soon.
